Privacy Policy
Nujoom Digital · Last updated October 31, 2026
This policy explains how Nujoom Digital (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information through our website and the apps Kalimati, Tasbih Studio, and Wishwell. Each app handles information differently, as described below.
Kalimati
A parent or caregiver can create learner profiles with a name, an optional photo, and a boy/girl choice used for spoken instructions. Kalimati saves learned items, stars, badges, focus letters, placement recommendations, and parental level limits.
The app keeps a copy on the device and uses Apple’s CloudKit service to sync this information in the parent’s private iCloud database when iCloud is available. Devices using the same iCloud Apple Account can receive the same profiles, photos, and learning progress. We do not operate a server that receives this learner information. Apple provides iCloud storage and processing under its applicable terms and privacy policy. Sync may be delayed while a device is offline or iCloud is unavailable.
Parents can delete a learner in the app. With iCloud sync, the deletion also reaches their other connected devices. Deleting the app alone does not delete learner data already stored in iCloud. Device and iCloud backups are managed separately through the parent’s Apple settings.
Parent PINs and voice settings stay on each device. The app does not require a separate Kalimati account. Apple’s StoreKit service handles the optional one-time curriculum purchase and restores using the App Store Apple Account, which can differ from the iCloud account. We do not receive payment-card details.
The app uses Apple’s system photo picker and receives only the image selected for a profile. It does not need access to the rest of the photo library. Selected profile photos can sync through iCloud as described above.
Kalimati does not include advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs. If a user opts in to share analytics with app developers in iOS settings, Apple may provide Nujoom Digital with crash and performance reports.
If you email support, we receive the sender’s email address and the message or attachments they choose to send. We use these to respond and keep them while needed to handle the request. Please do not send children’s personal information when it is not needed. You can ask us to delete support correspondence using the contact details below, subject to records we must retain by law.
Tasbih Studio
Tasbih Studio does not require an account. It works offline and does not send app information to a Nujoom Digital server. The app has no advertising, analytics, or tracking code in the reviewed app build.
The app saves counters, selected and custom presets, counts, appearance and layout settings, and an optional background photo on the device. If you select a photo, the app copies that image into its private app storage; it does not upload the photo or read the rest of your photo library. You can remove the photo in the app. Removing the app removes its local data, subject to any device backup you have enabled.
If you opt in to share analytics with app developers in iOS settings, Apple may provide Nujoom Digital with crash and performance reports.
Wishwell
Wishwell does not require a separate account. Your wishlists, wishes, prices, store links, notes, and fulfilled status are kept on the device and, when iCloud is available, synced through Apple’s CloudKit service in your private iCloud database so they appear on your other devices signed in to the same iCloud Apple Account. We cannot see this private data and do not operate a server that receives it. If you choose the on-device library instead, it stays on that device. Apple provides iCloud storage and processing under its applicable terms and privacy policy.
Sharing is off until you turn on a public account. A public account stores the name you choose and your profile photo, if you’ve added one, in Wishwell’s public CloudKit database, where other Wishwell users can find and see it. Each wishlist stays private until you make it public; a public wishlist shows its title, wishes, prices, store links, and fulfilled status. Adding someone to your circle is also stored there. You can make a wishlist private again or turn off your public account at any time, but others may already have seen or copied what was shared. Apple gives the app an anonymous account identifier so what you share can be tied to you; we do not publish your email address, phone number, or Apple Account details.
When you mark someone’s wish with “I’m getting this,” that mark is stored in the public database. Other Wishwell users viewing the wish see your name so nobody buys it twice, and the app only tells the person who made the wish that someone might be getting it. Because the database is shared with Wishwell users, this is a protection in the app rather than a guarantee the mark can never be read. While a wishlist is private, its shared record keeps only anonymous identifiers for the wishes still on it, so a removed wish can be confirmed; it does not include their titles or details.
Blocking someone hides their content on your devices without notifying them, and sends their profile to us for review. A report you send about a profile or wishlist is visible only to you and to Nujoom Digital for moderation: the app sends the reported item and your reason to our server at nujoomdigital.com, which emails them to us so we can review them within 24 hours. We may remove content that breaks our rules and the account that posted it. Turning off your public account in Settings deletes your public profile and public wishlists, and the circle additions and gift marks you made; your private wishlists are not affected. Reports are kept for moderation. Deleting the app alone does not delete data already stored in iCloud.
If you allow notifications, Wishwell’s alerts are sent by our server at nujoomdigital.com through Apple’s push service, for example when someone adds you to their circle, when someone might be getting one of your wishes, or when a wish you’re getting is removed or fulfilled. To do this, our server stores your device’s push token, the anonymous account identifier Apple gives the app, and a count of unread alerts for the app icon. When the app reports something that just happened, the server reads the related records from Wishwell’s public CloudKit database to confirm it and to write the alert, which can include a wish title or a person’s public name; it never receives your private wishlists. We keep a record of alerts already sent so none is sent twice. Turning off your public account removes your device from our server, and a device that no longer accepts notifications is removed automatically.
Optional tips are handled by Apple’s StoreKit service; we receive confirmation of a tip but no payment details, and tips do not unlock features. If you import lists from the earlier Wishwell website, the email and password you enter are sent only to that website to sign in for the import and are not saved by the app.
Wishwell does not include advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs. If you opt in to share analytics with app developers in iOS settings, Apple may provide Nujoom Digital with crash and performance reports. Wishwell is not directed at children under 13.

Children’s privacy
Kalimati is designed for children, and a parent or caregiver controls the learner profile. Profile names, photos, and progress are stored on the device and may sync through the parent’s private iCloud database as described above. We do not knowingly receive this profile information through a Nujoom Digital server.
Security, your choices, and deletion
Information in our apps is handled as described in the app-specific sections above and is subject to the device’s backup settings. Website information is retained as described above. We use reasonable safeguards for information we handle, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
You can delete learner data in Kalimati, remove your selected background photo in Tasbih Studio, and turn off your public account or delete wishlists in Wishwell. For questions about or requests to access, correct, or delete information submitted through our website, email us and identify the relevant service.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our apps or practices change. We will post the revised policy here and update the date above.
